TRUMP’S FIRST

DAYS

Insiders Reveal What to Expect From His Next Administration

LEFT STILL CAN’T MEASURE UP TO TRUMP Donald Trump takes endless abuse from the left, but still stands unwaveringly strong. Strength was what he was all about during his presidency, and what he’s all about still. Such fortitude brings global peace and a vibrant U.S. economy. The comparison with the incumbent president was glaringly obvious during the June debate. No wonder President Joe Biden was inarticulate and incoherent — what has he accomplished beyond whining and griping? You may find Trump jarring at times, but he fought for us, and will do so again. You can’t say the same about Biden or his lackluster sycophants. (“Trump’s First 100 Days,” July) carmona berevesino New York, N.Y.

Trump’s idea to remove a tax on “tipping” is a better alternative to the disastrous raising of the minimum wage. Trump’s slogan should be “Real Policies for Real People.” charles lopresto Phoenix, Ariz.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is worried about Donald Trump again becoming president. He realizes that Trump will no longer treat him with kid gloves. He’s trying to save face and escape war crimes charges — of which there will be many. millard stone jr. Hagerstown, Md.

VOTING MESS Politicians don’t care about election integrity. All they care about is their agendas. Welcome to the mess they created. Democrats control everything, including prosecutors and judges. They just decided they would make themselves the law and ride roughshod over the real laws and liberty of this land (by destroying our justice system with sham trials, after having searched for a crime, making up whatever they couldn’t find, then hand- picking juries). What an insult and nullification of our freedoms. (“Voter Fraud Still a Threat in 2024,” April) rollin shafer Brimfield, Ill.

THIRD-PARTY PERIL Your June article (“Third-Party Candidates Pose Outsize Risk in Swing States”) highlights the danger that third-party candidates pose in those states. Yes, “Just a handful of votes for them could tip the scales,” but have you also considered that the reason voters are attracted to such candidates is due to a long- term overarching dissatisfaction with the status quo? Even Ralph Nader (in 2000) garnered 97,488 votes, enabling George W. Bush’s victory over Al Gore. Perhaps those voters saw Nader, yes, as being not part of the mainstream, but truly having the nation’s interests at heart. Meaning, he’s opposed to D.C. and corporate insiders (and others) who are more interested in mugging and grandstanding before cameras, versus genuinely solving our beleaguered nation’s problems.

LACK OF EDUCATION What’s wrong with college dummies is they’ve had no education. They

know nothing about history. As a result, they have no concept of the wars we fought — battles to get and keep our freedoms. Load Hamas lovers on planes, fly them to Gaza, and leave them there.

BAD ADVICE If I had the opportunity to speak to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, I would tell him: “Do not do anything that Biden or his incompetent, inept Cabinet members want or tell you to do. They do not have Israel’s best interest at heart. Defend your nation at all costs.” Return the Holy Land to God’s chosen people, the land he gave them thousands of years ago. (“Israel Under Siege,” June)

GOOD AND EVIL Humankind has not been forthright about religion. Religion is about good and evil, and we should clearly define both. Human good is being creative, submitting to conscience, being made in “the image of the Creator.” To be evil is being destructive, enslaved to ego. The choice between conscience and ego is the most fateful choice one ever makes. Choosing conscience makes you a human being, rather than a fraud, a parasite. If all people were honest, there would be no
