to Destroy Conservatives

got to be a bad joke.” And to finally be shown the footage, I thought, “My God, this is it? This is the assault?” I thought it was going to be thrown

out immediately because it was so damn tenuous. There’s not a person in the world who would look at that foot- age and agree that my son should be found guilty of an assault of a cop — I defy anyone to look at it and tell me that.

Now, I’m being told the footage of

this and other elements of the case have all been deleted by the government. My son wasn’t part of any assault on any cop. No prosecutor truly interested in justice would ever have followed this trail.

Some say the FBI and DOJ are crim-

inalizing conservatism. It’s happening in America, and it’s

something we never expected. The final straw on my son in this instance — it really puts a bow on the motives of our “Justice” Department — was when, at the last minute, right before sentenc- ing, they tried to throw on a terrorism enhancement, thus declaring him a terrorist akin to Osama bin Laden to increase his jail term to between 20 and 27 years. And in many, many ways, they’re weaponizing the federal government to go after the con- servative movement. No one has ever seen anything

How would you like to see the Amer- ican people respond to the current climate of lawfare? Vote against them! Get them out

of federal office! Also, there needs to be an investigation of the Justice Department. You know, once upon a time the

FBI was the most respected entity of the federal government. Today, we fear the FBI the way the Rus- sians once feared the KGB, the way the East Germans feared the Stasi . . . where they come banging at 7 a.m. and barrel through your door with weapons drawn because you entered the Capitol. It’s happening to people all over

the country. There has to be an investigation of this agency, which is completely out of control.

political, but it is also far more than political. It’s now legal, and it’s to the point

of wanting to put people, including the former president and the possible future president of the United States of America, in prison.

How is your son holding up? He’s resolute. This has deepened

his faith dramatically, and he has found great solace in that. He’s fight- ing and this has cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s cost his life savings, which affects his family, and that breaks his heart. But personally, he’s a tough, tough guy, and I’m very proud of him.
