Building to protest the 2020 election rocked the lives of many Americans — but few more than the family of long- time conservative icon L. Brent Bozell III, founder of the Media Research Center media watchdog. That’s because prosecutors target-


ed his son, Brent Bozell IV, for special attention. The 44-year-old admitted to break-


ing two windows and entering the Capitol — where, among other events, it appears he helped several police offi- cers avoid serious injury. “Since the beginning,” the elder


Bozell tells Newsmax Magazine, “my son has been prepared to accept just punishment for breaking two win- dows and entering the Capitol. But it should be a punishment based on justice.” Yet as the case proceeded, Joe


Biden’s Justice Department evinced an enthusiasm for adding whatever charges they thought might stick against the son of one of America’s leading conservatives. In May, the younger Bozell was sentenced to serve three years and nine months in prison. In an exclusive interview in late


June, the MRC chief discussed the case with Newsmax.

ington, D.C., to hear that members of some left-wing organization have disrupted the goings-on in Congress. Whether it is Code Pink standing


up and disrupting hearings, people disrupting the State of the Union event, masked pro-Hamas protesters disrupting Congress, going into the Senate dining room, chanting, march- ing through the hallways . . . BLM dis- ruptions. These activities are an every- day thing in Washington, D.C. But the first time that conserva-


tives do that, somehow it becomes a federal obstruction of justice charge that lands every single one of them in prison.
