Electronic version of sprinkler rules

The LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations (the Rules) are a prestigious and established publication, forming a key component of the FPA’s heritage and expertise in this area. The Rules expand upon a core standard (currently BS EN 12845) with annotations and currently 33 supporting technical bulletins (TBs). Customers who have purchased the Rules can be assured that the supporting technical narrative to the core standard has been developed

• an increased need for the Rules to be accessible offline, and available remotely at locations where satellite or internet coverage cannot be guaranteed

• the binder version remained useful for reference, but was becoming cumbersome to transport and reference on jobs

From June, the sprinkler rules will also be available as a secure online PDF, suitably encrypted to satisfy BSI requirements, and which can only be opened by the number of authorised devices (via licences). A prepublication price of £255 has been agreed, and subscribers will be contacted in the next month
