THE COMPANY stated that it will present its ‘range of innovative products’ at FIREX, including its Cygnus Wireless
Alarm
System. It noted that the system is a ‘major innovation in wireless emergency fi re alarms for construction sites’, and added that the Cygnus technology is also ‘the most adaptable temporary fi re alarm system’. In turn, the product has been used ‘on some of the largest construction projects across the UK’, including Battersea Power Station, Waterloo Station and Tottenham Hotspur’s new football stadium.
Additionally, the company will be
presenting its ‘recently upgraded’ Fire, Spill and First Aid First Responder Stations at stand A240, and it notes that the stations are ‘fully mobile and can be deployed at strategic locations around sites’. Matthew Trigwell, sales director at Bull
Products, said: ‘Over the last year, we have been developing a range of fi re safety products that we believe will enhance site safety and protect workers to the highest standards – we’re excited to be back at this year’s FIREX International and sharing our latest innovations with the industry.’
Hochiki to celebrate 100th birthday at FIREX

AT THIS year’s event, Hochiki Europe will celebrate its 100th birthday with a VIP lounge, alongside
showcasing several recently
launched products. The company stated that the milestone
year ‘marks the release’ of its ‘most advanced’ multi sensor, the ACD-EN, which offers life safety designers and installers ’24 EN-approved modes of operations incorporating smoke, heat and carbon monoxide’ detection for a ‘multitude of environments’. At its booth on A355, the company will also outline ‘key benefi ts’ of this range and other products and services, including FIREscape+ and LEAKalarm.
FIREscape+ is a ‘unique, combined fi re
detection and emergency lighting system’ that Hochiki
states features ‘way fi nding’
technology, with this ‘revolutionary product’ created in order to save users ‘time and
money, while also protecting the safety of building occupants’. In turn, LEAKalarm offers end users ‘the latest in water detection technology, intended to mitigate the risks to electrical systems or other environments susceptible to water leaks’. Tracy Kirk, general manager of sales and
