AH, SUMMER is offi cially over. The long nights are drawing closer and we’ve all started to feel the drop of temperature in the air – and if you work in an offi ce I’m sure you’ve seen a drop in staff member numbers due to a serious case of the ‘sniffl es’. But it’s not all doom and gloom; ToolBUSINESS + HIRE Magazine is here to provide its readers with the latest and greatest kits including Wera Tool’s new C1 – C5 Range, and the 36V range from the newly- branded HiKOKI, all reviewed by tool expert Peter Brett himself! If that doesn’t warm the cockles of your heart, we’ve been travelling all around the country to provide an insight into September and October’s exhibitions and what the big-hitting

companies, exhibiting at these shows, have up their sleeves. So, whether you are reading this as a managing director of a huge company, or you’re sat in a shed on Saturday at the bottom of your garden, I’ll leave you with this; keep doing what you’re doing because in such uncertain financial times, passion is everything and no-one can take that away from you. In many other sectors, the next few months is the time to 'wind down', but not the tool industry, oh no! We’re always on the go, creating and innovating. So don’t forget to wrap up warm, and keep calm and carry on because it’ll be alright on the night. Enough pop culture references. This is me signing out.
