OF ITS ACTIVITIES In response to the rapidly developing Covid-19 epidemic, governments around the world are strengthening preventive and precautionary measures to limit the spread of the virus and protect populations. Having fully assessed the situation from

the very beginning of the epidemic, Adisseo has decided and implemented all necessary measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their employees and subcontractors as well as the continuity of their operations. These measures are adapted according

to the spread of the pandemic and the recommendations of the WHO and the Authorities of each country in which Adisseo is present. They are coordinated at group level by Adisseo’s Group pandemic crisis management team to ensure a homogeneous, rapid and efficient deployment.

INTERZOO 2020 POSTPONED In view of the current situation pertaining to the spread of the coronavirus in Germany and in Europe, WZF Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH as Interzoo organizer in closecooperation with NürnbergMesse GmbH as assigned partner for the organization of the event sees itself forced to postpone the world’s leading exhibition Interzoo 2020 to a later date yet to be determined. The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the spread of the coronavirus a

pandemic on 11 March 2020. In each of Germany’s 16 federal states infections have been recorded, and the German Federal Ministry of Health recommended that major events with more than 1,000 participants should be called off. Under the current circumstances it is very likely that the relevant ministries and health authorities might also prohibit major events with more than 1,000 participants scheduled for May 2020.

Given the current situation and its

extremely dynamic proportions, paired with the unforeseeable consequences of the pandemic, WZF as Interzoo organizer, as well as NürnbergMesse being assigned with the organization of the event are unable to sufficiently guarantee for the health of all trade fair participants if the event were to take place in May as scheduled. “Our decision is based on the WHO’s recommendations as well as the German Robert Koch Institute’s risk catalogue “General Principles of Risk Assessment and Recommended Procedures for Major Events”. Holding Interzoo in May 2020 is unfortunately impossible”, explains WZF Managing Director Alexandra Facklamm.

DSL SYSTEMS - CORONAVIRUS

IMPACT DSL Systems are continuing with business as usual as much as possible but are mindful of the potential impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. As of the 17th

March, roughly half

of their staff will be working from home. The design of the AutoPilot4Feed software allows them to make all but the most major changes remotely. They can therefore continue to provide support, updates and changes without site visits.

Site visits will still be possible for

emergency requirements, for example PLC failure. DSL Systems appreciates that their customers will face several challenges in the coming weeks and want to reassure them that they are there to help in any way possible. They are available by telephone if you think they may be of assistance. If you have a software maintenance

contract or your system is currently under warranty, the support number will continue to operate as normal.

New developments A number of new developments have been released this year in Version 9.5 of AutoPilot4Feed as follows: - • PIN authorization for override / manual entry

• Intelligent rework addition • Out of tolerance weighment and low stock emails • TASCC ID logging for trucks at weighbridge and expiry date checking

You can view what’s new in the latest version 9 of AutoPilot4Feed on DSL’s website.
