Sword & Trowel 2016: Issue 2

so thankful to God for this opportunity with these young people. Please pray that the Lord will open their eyes; they really don’t know anything about the Gospel. Progress with our new building on the edge of Castries has been very delayed by this exceptionally wet rainy season. Conditions have often been too mud- dy to be able to do anything. By now we were supposed to have completed the fl oor slab and main columns but we have only been able to complete the foundations and the back fi lling of soil. The weather is now due to improve and we hope to make progress with column bases and the steelwork for the concrete fl oor slab. If we can complete the slab before Christmas we will be able to start the brickwork for the outer walls in January, planning to com- plete this phase by March. We will then begin work on the fi rst fl oor deck, which will provide a tempo- rary roof for our initial, ground-fl oor accommodation. So please pray that we will have some

good weather which will enable us to continue. We know the Lord is in control of all things and that we will make progress at the right time.

[Pastor Samuel studied at the LRBS from 1992-94 and is supported by the Tabernacle’s Overseas Ministry Fund. See page 32 for details.]
