N 13th January 2016 the fi rst service of
Temuco Reformed Baptist Church was held in a home. It was a prayer meeting and three people were present – Pablo Huircapán, his wife Nathaly and another lady. Others have since joined them and they are now meeting in hired prem- ises, with an average attendance of twelve people. They have a morning teaching service and an evening evangelistic service each Sunday and a midweek Bible study. www.ibrtemuco.cl) and now attends each week. Temuco is the fourth largest city in Chile with a population of about 250,000. It is 400 miles south of the capital, Santiago. Pablo comes from an old-style Pen- tecostal background (non-charismatic) and is an engineer by profession. In 2011 he visited London and searched for a church. He discovered a large Spanish-speaking church meeting in a sports centre at the Elephant & Castle.
