Latest HSC additions

Hire Supply Co (HSC) says it has worked closely with Master Climate Solutions to develop the new DC61 battery powered diesel infra-red heater. With no need for fuel connections, the user simply fills it up and takes it to where heat is required. The battery is claimed to last for up to four hours and a full tank will give eight hours’

operation. If required, the machine can be powered by the mains or via a 110V or 240V supply. The battery recharges within 60 minutes. Available from November, the Elite EH1400 R7S Golden tube heater is a 1,500W version of the Elite Heat quartz halogen unit but, having only one element, it can be run from a 16A 110V supply. The element is designed to withstand direct water splashes and its internal wires are sealed, giving the fitting an IP65 rating. HSC’s LED lighting range has been

rationalised. The Aurora LED battery powered light, pictured, provides up to 16 hours of continuous illumination per charge and on full power delivers over 3,000 lumens. The Exin range of self-contained LED battery models has grown with the new IN3500LB which can run for up to 24 hours per charge and provides 3,400 lumens at maximum output. The Beacon 360 LED battery unit

provides up to 6,000 lumens and can run for 25 hours at a reduced output.

Handy Peli LED model

Peli UK has introduced the 9600 LED lighting system, comprising linkable units for applications such as illuminating long stretches of roads, rail track and tunnels. Engineered with side and end bracket attachment points, plus a stand system that can extend up to 3m, the light can be mounted to fences, hung overhead or stood on its own. The elliptical beam pattern is designed to provide as much lateral

illumination as possible, and each light head has a tilt mechanism, to direct the output accurately.

Generac Tower Light has expanded its V20 Tower Light range to incorporate three new compact models, including the intelligent iQ20, the V20 Hyper and V20 Hybrid. The iQ20 is equipped with an 8m hydraulic mast, a single cylinder diesel

engine designed for low fuel consumption and four 320W LED floodlights. It also has a telemetric system developed in conjunction with Trackunit to provide complete fleet visibility and connectivity for users to evaluate performance, consumption and usage patterns. The V20 Hyper has Generac’s Omnia LED Technology, designed to

provide three different types of lighting functionality from one machine. It can deliver 180° front lighting for maximum light coverage with a directional beam, 360° illumination for total light output without shadows, or a comprehensive anti-glare lighting spread for use in urban environments and at track or road sides.

The V20 Hybrid utilises Lithium-ion storage batteries giving a running

time of up to 40 hours when powered solely by the battery. All three new models have the manufacturer’s GTL01 digital controller, designed for ease of operation and to allow the use of ‘add-on’ applications.
