MARKET REPORT HEATING & LIGHTING continued

Trime UK goes Solar

Trime UK’s X-Solar Hybrid LED lighting tower is operated by a combination of solar energy and battery power, backed-up by an engine driven charging system. The machine has four 100W lamps delivering light coverage of 2000m2

, with up to 3,000 hours of

uninterrupted running without refuelling, states the company. It is designed to give low fuel consumption and decreased

emissions, while significantly reduced operation of the diesel engine means that the machine will require its first service at 3,000 hours, states Trime.

Latest MOSA model from Wilkinson Star

Wilkinson Star’s latest MOSA lighting tower is the MosaLight LED which utilises four 150W lamps mounted on a manual 5.5m mast and offers up to 1,800m2

of light coverage.

The mast has a collar safety device for user protection. Operation is controlled from the

side panel which also houses a 16A 110V socket, with 2.8KW 110V auxiliary power available for small tool use on site. The tower is powered by a Yanmar diesel engine with a running time of up to 44 hours. Pictured is a model supplied to VP/Hire Station as part of a bulk order for the new season.
