IT’S A YES FOR SANY
Your Equipment Solutions, aka YES Hire, has just taken delivery of its first fleet of SANY mini excavators, following a period of increasing demand from customers. Based in Falkirk, YES supplies a wide range of equipment all over Scotland, and
when it came time to add some mini excavators, YES purchased two SANY SY18C, 1.8 tonne, excavators and two SY26U, 2.7 tonne, excavators. “We decided to try the SANY product with some of our key customers and after
rigorous testing we gained very positive feedback,” said YES MD David Johnstone. ‘This feedback, combined with the tough build quality and back up from SANY’s direct sales channel in Scotland gave us the confidence to buy four excavators.” “Your Equipment Solutions has been expanding rapidly over recent years and we are
delighted to become a supplier to the this well respected business,” added Stewart Smith, Scotland sales manager for Sany UK & Ireland. The four machines were sold
through SANY Scotland, SANY’s direct sales and support route for the Scottish market.

Crew Hawk boosts site safety Crew Hawk integrates multiple technologies into a robust zone management system
that improves the location of people and machinery, providing position performance to avert incidents and cut the risk of workplace injuries and accidents. Crew Hawk employs wearable locators and compact mag-mounted equipment
sensors, to automatically trigger warnings if someone is too close to a restricted area. In such cases individuals are alerted to the risk of danger by an alarm on the device, with the system also preventing equipment from moving until the individual has returned to a secure location. Crew Hawk can also be deployed in explosive atmospheres and is ATEX and IECEx certified. The system is upgradeable and the incorporation of digital ranging cameras provides
additional levels of work area access, safety and security. It can also be integrated with machine vision to discriminate between ‘authorised’ and ‘unauthorised’ personnel and detects those workers that do not have wearable sensors, providing a fail-safe solution.
