EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW
The main attraction
This year’s Show is shaping up to be another record breaker with more than 190 exhibitors and a multitude of new product launches. We preview some of the exciting attractions awaiting you at your industry’s main annual event.
New Stage 5 Kohler-SDMO models STAND K66
New from Kohler-SDMO are a range of EU Stage V compliant portable and ‘rental specific’ generators (pictured). The company will continue to offer Stage III models for up to 18 months after the new regulations came into effect on 1 January, to assist customers with a successful transition.
STAND G20 Klauke cuts it
Klauke UK says that its portable hydraulic tools for cutting armoured power cables and terminating compression connectors eliminate hazards of trailing hoses and cumbersome two-person operation. Powered by 18V Lithium-ion batteries, the hydraulic tools are designed to slice through up to 105mm-diameter cables and produce 15 tonnes of compression for terminating cables up to 630mm2 For on-site use, the Greenlee Shear 30T hydraulic
.
strut cutter is mounted on a trolley and is designed to eliminate hazards associated with traditional cutters, such as blades, rotating discs, sparks and noise. Selected for the Innovation Trail at the Show, it has a controlled hydraulic shear to produce burr-free cuts accurately. The shearing action wipes galvanic coatings across the cut end for corrosion protection.
Altrad Belle to launch Bowser Washer
EHN can exclusively report that Altrad Belle has again chosen the Show as the launch pad for another new product as it introduces the BWX15/250 Bowser Pressure Washer. The manufacturer states that this heavy-duty model has Whole Vehicle Approval for
STAND G30
towing on public roads. It comes with a 1,125-litre durable HDPE water tank which has an internal baffle to prevent water surge in transit. A frost drain and a filler strainer are fitted as standard, and the unit is coupled to the

company’s 8.9hp Yanmar diesel engine-powered pressure washer. Visitors can view the company’s increased line-up of reversible
compaction plates which are for harsh site conditions and have integral wheels for easy transportation. An electric start option with key ignition and LED warning lamps powered by a Lithium-ion battery eliminates the need for operator training associated with manual starting, says Altrad Belle.
Also on display will be the Diesel 6000 E Silence, a 6.5kVA super-silent generator powered by the new Kohler KD15-440E
Engine, with a noise rating of 60 dB(A) at 7m. Standard features include a bunded fuel tank giving 22 hours of running at 75% load.
STAND B44 Snorkel’s scissor selection
Snorkel UK has doubled its stand size this year and will highlight a selection of low-level and electric work at height solutions, including the S3010P (pictured) and S3010E mini scissor lifts and the S3219E electric slab scissor. The self-propelled S3010E delivers a working height of 5m
and can be used for internal facilities maintenance in large buildings. Compact dimensions and a zero inside turning radius
make it suitable for work in tight spaces, and it is light enough to be carried in lifts. The lightweight S3010P is a push-around model lift that can pass through a single doorway and is capable of lifting up to 195kg, with a platform height of up to 3m.
