EXHIBITOR PROFILE YANMAR CONSTRUCTION EUROPE continued

(2,685kg). The ViO zero tail swing models are the ViO10 (1,200kg), ViO12 (1,235kg), ViO17 (1,765kg), ViO27-6 (2,665kg), ViO27-6 (2,745kg), ViO33-6 (3,275kg), ViO38-6 (3,695kg), ViO50-6 (4,855kg) and ViO57-6 (5,485kg). So hire companies have plenty of choice.

Yanmar’s midi-sized ViO tracked excavators are the ViO80 and the new ViO82 with operating weights of 8,065kg and 8,200kg respectively. Whilst the former is more aimed at plant hirers, the more sophisticated ViO82 provides greater scope for using powered attachments. It has Yanmar’s new ViPPS2i hydraulic system and two independently controlled auxiliary hydraulic circuits. The ViPPS2i provides aggregated power regulation of two independent variable-flow piston pumps and a multiple combination directional control valve. There is also a new electronic hydraulic pump regulator to adjust flow rate to the engine’s performance.

The ViO82 has a fuel-efficient, low-emission Yanmar 4TNV98C-WBV1 diesel engine rated at 41.5kW (55.7hp). Maximum digging depth is 4,400mm (with quick coupler) and, with a tail radius of 1,135mm, the rear of the machine can turn safely within its 2,270mm track width.

Yanmar’s latest ViO zero tail swing compact excavator is the ViO82 with an advanced ViPPS2i hydraulic system

The product portfolio also includes tracked carriers/dumpers. The popular model is the 1,150kg-payload C12 and, also coming from the company’s Japanese factory, the 2,500kg-capcity C30R-3 is available with either a flat floor rear tipping body or (version TV) a rotary dumper skip. These Series 3 C30R models have gained joystick controls and a reversible operator’s seat.

The smallest Yanmar tracked dumper is the 800kg-payload C08 available with standard or high-tip skips (both with the option of a self-loading scoop). Cormidi in Italy specially makes this C08 with a Yanmar diesel engine for Yanmar. A C08 together with a ViO12 mini will be shown by Yanmar at the Show.

Yanmar has also added SmartAssist Remote telematics. This provides diagnostics and geo-fencing functions and is available as standard on most of the company’s excavators and carriers. A future development is set to be the introduction of electric machines that would provide another step forward in the development of this long-established brand.
