“We always gain something from going”
A number of hirers tell us the importance of attending the Show and why it is such a great way of making a positive start to the New Year.

“
The Show is always a great opportunity to meet so many suppliers in the space of just two days and, as always, our attention will be focused on suppliers with products that feature innovation. In particular, we’ll be seeking out any of the first-time exhibitors with new ‘disruptive’ products that could help us challenge existing markets. The construction
industry is under massive pressure to improve productivity and we’re likely to
see an astonishing increase in the use of prefabricated components, new lightweight materials and more complex sustainability technology so, any equipment supplier that can help us support these new processes and technologies will be the ones we’ll be keen to see.
Terry Heal from Bradfords Tool Hire
“ The Show in my opinion is a
must. It enables us as passionate hirers to meet the key suppliers to the industry in an informal setting away from the busy workplace, renew acquaintances with past colleagues and review the range of new products due for launch in 2019. We encourage our key
members of staff to attend as they are the future of our business. I expect over the two days, 12 members of Bradfords Hire staff will have visited the exhibition. We will be looking at new ranges of gardening machinery, small moveable powered access products and air conditioning equipment during our time there. Bradfords Building Supplies is celebrating 250 years in business in 2020; hire commenced in 2001 so we have a long way to go to catch up!

Seamus Byrne, left, and Ronan Cotter of Dromad Hire We look forward to the Show every year. The location is ideal for travel and the event is held at
the right time to suit hirers - spring is just around the corner and it’s a great time to view new plant and get inspiration for the coming year. It is also an ideal opportunity for us to talk to existing and potentially new suppliers. We always come
away from the Show feeling we gained something from going, either purchasing new equipment with the many deals available, viewing new plant coming to the market, or meeting passionate hirers like ourselves. We also love to win the odd Award!
”
Beverley and Simon Luscombe from Luscombe Plant Hire
“ We love the Show. It keeps
us up-to-date with product developments and what’s going on in our industry and you can catch up on everything. You don’t get many chances to socialise and network with others, so we get a lot out of visiting. We are always on the lookout
for new products, both for the hire fleet and for the retail side of our business which continues to grow, so we really benefit from attending the exhibition.
Simon Tomblin of Rocket Rentals
“ 17 The Show is one of the most
important events of the year and the dates are always amongst the first to go into the diary. It gives us the opportunity to come and see a lot of companies under one roof and to do a lot of our purchasing in one go. We can talk to new and existing suppliers. We always plan ahead, taking a

good look at the list of exhibitors and the floor plan, and checking out what we need and who we should see.
