FOR us here in Skip Hire & Waste towers, travelling around the UK and Ireland to meet suppliers and manufacturers face-to- face has to count as a pretty signifi cant perk of the job.
So the faces of the sales and editorial teams lit up expectantly when I said we’d be returning to Northern Ireland for our March special feature.
As well as being a stunningly beautiful part of the nation, it is also a hugely important manufacturing area for many sectors including, naturally, waste and recycling plants and machinery. Some of the biggest suppliers in our industry can be found nestled in a picturesque corner of County Tyrone.
Turn to page 18 to learn about this industrious area and a selection of the companies who call it home.
Elsewhere, we are also honoured to welcome a minor celebrity as Skip Chick for March. She hit the dizzy heights of Twitter stardom back in November for her creative photographs, and now ‘Skip Lady’ Non Harries takes her turn in our spotlight.
