MEET fi ve-year-old Labradoodle Ozzie (LEFT) , who is apparently at relentless war with the neighbour’s cat. Ozzie has his paws in a lot of pies at Smith Recycling, in Milton Keynes. Rumour has it the staff there are risking life and limb to bring him treats from their lunch break.

18-MONTH-OLD Odie (RIGHT) is a Chihuahua-cross-Jack Russell from Burnham Waste Ltd in Highbridge, Somerset. Odie's maybe small, but he isn’t a hush puppy. He’s an intimidating character around the offi ce; yapping at customers constantly. One of his favourite pastimes is sitting on staff notepads when they are taking orders.

LIKE his Quicker Skips bestie, Rex (RIGHT) is also four years old. He is a very loyal mutt; a bit too loyal at times. Rex is a bit of a one-man dog, which can prove diffi cult when that

one man has a day off ! Rex is very much a skip dog – in fact – he once got so comfy in one of the diggers, it took two hours to get him out.

FOUR-YEAR-OLD Tyson (LEFT) is a meat, biscuit-eating fanatic. Along with his right-hand pedigree chum, Rex (BELOW), they own the yard at Quicker Demolition & Skips Ltd, Burnley. Tyson is a fi erce protector and listens to commands well, which is important around any skip-yard where safety is a concern.
