Weighbridge Services offer value for money service contracts and experience

AS a company striving to provide a gold- standard service, Weighbridge Services Limited are leaders at maintaining weighing equipment and will be exhibiting at RWM on stand 5N13.

With over 30 years’ experience, the Sheffi eld-based weighbridge specialists know the importance of weighing system maintenance, to make sure customers are not making losses on transactions.

This can be any type of equipment including small platform scales, hopper systems, axle-weighing devices, and weighbridges.

On the sales side of the business, Weighbridge Services take pride in using UK steel and manufacturing to bring the best possible product to market.

Weighbridge Services’ Liam Buxton said: “Essentially, we specialise in providing a service for repairs, calibration, upgrading and even converting aged and reconditioned weighing equipment to bring them into the 21st Century but keeping the user interface as easy as possible. We even work on equipment made by other manufacturers.”

If a weighbridge is out by even 2kg, which

is not uncommon, customers can lose thousands of pounds per year.

Liam added: “We only supply open market electronics so any company that may be tied into having to use a particular brand can be off ered a cost eff ective system that can be worked on by any engineer in the trade.

“This eliminates the issues of branded replacement parts being unavailable or simply costing too much. We’re confi dent that even though anyone in the industry can work on our systems, with our technical expertise and professional service, people will prefer to use Weighbridge Services time and again for any work they require.

“Weighbridge Services conversion kits can include new, stronger ball-bearing type load cells and top-of-the-line touchscreen indicators.

“Adding modern technology to older weighbridges opens possibilities to additional peripherals, including traffic lights, driver-operated terminals, outdoor displays and remote control weighing systems.”

When it comes to conversions, the South Yorkshire Company adjusts the

weighbridge to suit the company’s new open market technology.

Weighbridge also off er one-off or annual Service Contracts on new or existing weighing equipment.

This provides annual preventative maintenance checks of the weighing equipment, structure and electronics and combined with an annual calibration using certifi ed test weights it helps to keep the accuracy of the weighing equipment within the government- required tolerances.
