Flooring for wellness
Gerflor has supplied the decorative and hardwearing flooring solution for the wellness centre at the Coppid Beech Hotel in Bracknell.
Approximately 200-330 guests use the centre each week, so the flooring not only had to look stunning, but also offer outstanding durability. As part of a refurbishment, 268sq m of Gerflor’s Creation 55 LVT was specified in three colours for three areas: the gym, spin room and reception area/corridors. The new floor helps to deliver a vibrant, lighter environment in a space that has no windows. The Creation LVT range recently won the coveted 2017 CFJ/CFA Product of The Year.

Storyhouse in Chester specified Gradus LED Lighting in its entertainment facility as part of a multi-million pound restoration.
Gradus ATD71L stair edgings, incorporating the Interlok Advance LED lighting system in white, were installed in the building’s theatres and cinema to create a pinpoint lighting effect across each step. This provides a clear, defined edge for users ascending and descending the staircase in low light conditions. ATD71L stair edgings comprise hardwearing, aluminium channels with a 6mm gauge, and incorporate PVC-u tubes that house the LED lighting and clip securely into the channels. The system is finished with end caps ensuring all cables are hidden.

When the new King building in London’s West End was being conceived, it was always going to have a staff gym and fitness facility. As in their previous building, King specified Gerflor products, this time choosing 210sq m of Gerflor’s Taraflex®

vinyl sports flooring in Pink, Silver Grey and London Light Blue. The new flooring provides comfort, safety and performance in the gym and fitness area, while ensuring the facility looks amazing.
