The Powerpods are an ideal alternative to rechargeable batteries as they are completely safe for use in schools. Traditional rechargeable batteries can generate very large currents or large amounts of heat if accidentally shorted. However, the Powerpods automatically limit the output current to a safe value, in the event of a circuit being shorted. If a short is applied there is also a built in red LED light to indicate a fault. Pack includes 4 pods each with an output of 1.5v, a rechargeable docking station and mains adaptor.
