Simple, accurate and great value, what more could you want from a classroom scale. Removable dials allow for children to weigh in a number of different units of measure from Kg to Newtons all on one set of scales. Simply remove and replace the acetate dials according to the unit of measure you require. Although they look like a traditional style of scale in their appearance and usage, they actually function in a digital manner and are battery operated as opposed to spring loaded – providing the accuracy only a digital scale can. We know how important it is for children to be able to read a scale, therefore the functionality to do this is evident, however for other areas of learning and other subjects such as D&T or science there is the option to view a digital reading as well as reading the needle to allow for children to see the correlation between different representations of the same measurement. The LCD display is a nice additional feature, which can be switched on and off, allowing children to check their estimating skills Dials are stored in the back of the scale and are easily interchangeable with no removable parts.
