In Upper KS2 the Frac- tion Strips can be used to multiply and divide fractions by physically representing the calculation allowing children to discover in a practical way the mathematical structure thus deepening their understanding. Each set contains a strip for one whole, halves, thirds, quarters, fi fths, sixths, sevenths, eighths, ninths and tenths.
