P&P LIVE! 2019 preview Screen PrintWorkshop schedule


The Screen Print Workshop aims to introduce beginners to screen printing and to enhance the running of existing print shops. Ideal for novices as well as the more experienced printer, Screen Print World and SPT Sales + Marketing will host live demonstrations on


both manual and automatic carousels, so come and get your hands dirty and see what is involved first hand.


You will find the Screen Print Workshop on stand B74. Each session will last 30 minutes with time to ask questions. Seats fill up fast so please arrive early to guarantee your place.

This session will cover what to look out for when purchasing your first automatic or manual screen printing press. Also explaining the necessary extras needed for screen printing, as itʼs more than just a press. Presented by Dave Roper, managing director, Screen Print World.


Optimising ink deposit with water-based inks


In this session learn how mesh technology has changed and how this could save screen printers money. Presented by William Shorter, technical executive, SPT Sales + Marketing.


How to cure ink making it washable Take the guess work out of curing and learn how to tell if your garment is under or over cured. We will focus on the two main types of textile ink, plastisol and water-based. Presented by Dave Roper, managing director, Screen Print World.
