Focus on Dye Sublimation
Hybrid Services Digital textile printing heritage
New from Mimaki in 2019 is the release of the TS55-1800 dye sublimation transfer printer that is set to revolutionise the textile printing industry. Encompassing a newly developed print head capable of achieving strong colours even at the highest speeds, along with Mimakiʼs digital textile printing heritage, the TS55 incorporates multiple features that can be configured to suit workload and demand. Supplied as standard with cost effective two-litre ink sacks, itʼs possible to either specify from the outset or upgrade at any point to the Mimaki Bulk Ink System (MBIS) that holds 10kg supplies of inks that lower unit costs even further and assist workflow by reducing operator intervention. Similar
attention has been paid to the material handling aspect – with the option to utilise huge 2.5km long rolls of transfer paper using Mimakiʼs Mini Jumbo Roll system or alternatively, businesses can still start with the standard roll media option.
This all adds up to enabling textile professionals to effortlessly scale their operation with the TS55-1800. An affordable sublimation printer that meets the high quality and fast turnaround times demanded in the dynamic textile and apparel industry, the TS55 grows alongside the company for the creation of fashion, apparel, sportswear, furnishings and POS.

The entry-level printers, complete with SubliJet HD inks, feature unique PowerDriver for colour management together with CreativeStudio online artwork software incorporating template and tips for most application products.
The company recently introduced some real sublimation ink innovation
introducing Duraluxe a printable aluminium that offers a minimum five-year outdoor guarantee. Traditionally, full colour transfer decoration of aluminium panels printed using any sublimation ink has not been suitable or acceptable for outdoor use due to poor durability against the effects of UV, graffiti and weathering. However, a new patented double powder coating process to the Duraluxe aluminium sublimation panels now makes this possible and is supported by international certification. This new innovation is a guide as to the positive direction of sublimation for the future enabling users to open new markets.

Sabur Digital Class leading advantages
The DGI FT series of sublimation printer offer class leading advantages such as heavy duty take up systems, extended drying systems, competitively-priced high density inks alongside an unparalleled three-year gold warranty as standard. FT-1604 is the same sublimation printer as its bigger brother, the DGI FT-1608, but has four printheads rather than eight as standard. What you get are all of the industrial features the 1608, but a huge bonus is that you have the option to easily upgrade the DGI FT-1604 machine to the DGI FT-1608. This is massively cost-effective for you and your company as it means that you donʼt have to pay the full price for another printer – only a small upgrade charge. And because it is on the same single footprint it doesn't need additional space, either. The DGI FT-1604 is simply a fantastic sublimation printer that can save you money and space. Whatʼs not to love? Production speeds are excellent too – with true production print speeds of up to 56sq m/hr per hour (FT1604) and upgraded production speeds of up to 112sq m/hr (FT1608).
