Retail trends in the printwear market A

As we all know retail trends play a massive part in product development in the printwear market. Here the experts from across the industry outline their thoughts on the upcoming autumn/ winter season and what trends you can expect to see flow through into the menswear sector.

ccording to Teri-Louise Deegan, marketing executive at Prestige Leisure, the A/W season will see several menswear trends from the eminent realms of high fashion replicated in the retail and wholesale sector.

“Many of these trends identified hark to a youthful and unique style, which correlates with the nostalgic pieces being increasingly worn by males,” she adds. Teri-Louise highlights as an example the

What’s your best-seller?

Here, companies from the printwear industry highlight one of their best-selling products from their menswear collection and explain what makes it so popular…

Russell creates more and more products that pick up on the business-athleisure trend. A good example is the Washed Oxford Shirt 920M in 100% cotton that complies with the OCS standard. Special garment washing and a button-down collar give this shirt a casual fashion look; and the functional details are just as convincing. The shirt has a detachable loop for perfectly fixing neckties or glasses and also forms part of Russellʼs Easy Care Line. The Coolmax shirts also feature in the athleisure segment. Thanks to especially developed Coolmax fibres they ensure excellent breathability and moisture control. Another highlight is the micro-twill fabric that is particularly hard-wearing. Both products fuse sporty utility with comfort and design.
