4 Ways Solutions expands embroidery potential
G
arment decorator and office supplier 4 Ways Solutions is relishing in growth after installing a new embroidery machine, just nine months after the first one. The Maidstone-based company has welcomed its newest kit, the Barudan BEKY-S1504CII four-head embroidery machine, as it looks to expand its volume of work for both new and existing customers.
The machine was installed on September 22 with Barudan sales representative Lisa Craddock, staying to assist in training members of staff on the new equipment.
Managing director, Roy Meyer, said: “It’s here because the volume of work we have been promised is there, and so we needed a new machine. “We were in discussions for one anyway, but with new contracts coming in, that’s definitely why we got it.” It now sits alongside the company’s six-head Barudan, which it bought in January, just after 4 Ways established its Maidstone base.
Ms Craddock, of Barudan, said: “They only got their first machine back in January, and then they said they might come back. Customers always say these things, but for them to come back just nine months later is amazing.
Madeira launches new chenille embroidery thread
M
adeira is looking to make a splash with its latest innovation, specifically designed for chenille
embroidery.
Labelled Chenille 12, the thread is the company’s first purpose-built product made from recycled polyester. It combines a unique looser twist with an open filament structure to create velvet-soft uniform loops with a smooth, flat finish.
Chenille 12 is compatible with size 90/14 needles, helping to minimise fabric damage across a wide range of materials. Its soft, durable construction makes it ideal for patches, caps, fashion details, accessories and interior applications.

The company isn’t staying still, though, with sights already set on a third machine in at least 12 months, while Roy is also considering a single-head to use for samples at shows.
Bill said: “We walked into this building in January and we wondered how we were going to fill it, now it feels we are running out of room.”

Visual Agents for AI image quality control launched by Photoroom
P
hotoroom has launched Visual Agents, a system designed to help businesses generate, check and correct AI-generated imagery at scale. The visual commerce platform tested 4,250 AI-generated images across 850 products, finding that its strongest base model passed complete product-fidelity checks just 29% of the time before quality control.

Visual Agents aims to address this by automatically checking images, retrying those that fail to meet requirements and referring uncertain cases for human review.
The launch reflects growing demand for reliable AI imagery, with businesses increasingly focused on ensuring generated product visuals accurately represent the items being sold.
