Heat printing innovation this way T
P&P editor, Melanie Attlesey, was invited for an exclusive tour around Target Transfers’ new heat printing innovation centre in Braintree, Essex. Let’s take a look!
arget Transfers was established in 1976, with managing director Martin Borley having recently celebrated 30 years with the company. The new training facility and showroom opened just in time to mark 90 years of heat printing innovation from Stahls’. Target Transfers has had a relationship with Stahls’ for many, many years. The innovation centre is dedicated to helping heat printers make improvements in every area of their business. Visitors to the innovation centre will be able to see the largest selection of heat presses in the UK. And with Europe’s largest stock of Stahls’ Hotronix presses in the new warehouse facility next door, you can even drive home with a brand new heat press, should you wish! One-to-one masterclasses and business growth clinics will be held regularly throughout the year, so heat printers can learn all the sales, marketing and decoration tips needed to enhance their businesses.
One of the first
As well as the opening of the new showroom and training facility, the team at Target Transfers has spent a lot of time and energy in simplifying the approach to heat transfer ordering in the UK. Target Transfers was the fi rst company in the UK to introduce a fully serviced online transfer ordering system, called Easy View. Customers now only need to choose between one to fi ve colour or full colour heat transfers to fi nd a solution for all jobs.
The new innovation centre is most defi nitely the place to visit if you want to learn more about heat transfer printing and hone your skills.
Inside the showroom
The showroom features an area where meetings can be held with customers
Customers can receive inspiration from decorated products that are on display throughout the showroom
Heat printing is the world’s fastest growing decoration method, and as the UK’s leading supplier for custom transfers, vinyl and presses we have a responsibility to make sure the UK is educated to the highest level. A recent visitor to the innovation centre has already seen production time reduced by 50% once they were shown proper heat press technique. My mission as Target Transfers managing director is to help every single printer in the UK achieve more. Head to our events page to book a class and I guarantee we will help you with essential improvements
