Russell Europe adopts the iconic Eagle R logo T

he European division of Russell Brands is proud to announce the adoption of the iconic red, white and blue Eagle R logo. This logo was originally introduced in 1983 and was brought back to life through a Russell Athletic Heritage collection in the US and Europe in 2017. This successful reintroduction of the logo was the first step in Russell Athletic’s launch into consumer lifestyle and streetwear fashion globally. The Russell Athletic brand in Europe, a separate business unit from Russell Brands Europe, is operated through a licensee that focuses on consumer retail. For Russell Athletic’s 120th anniversary year in 2022, the company consciously decided to align the Russell Brands European logo with the

Russell Athletic Eagle R logo to ensure a uniform market presence worldwide. The new Russell Brands Europe logo comes without the Athletic lettering below the Eagle R to more align with the corporate positioning, but the rest of the logo is identical to the Russell Athletic logo. Daiber launches a new marketing service

ustav Daiber has made a new media cloud available to its dealers.

With this cloud, extensive image and

information material on the products of James & Nicholson and Myrtle Beach is available, clearly arranged, in one place. A central function is sharing current product and lifestyle pictures, which Daiber updates continuously. The new media cloud allows dealers and also their service providers and customers to easily register independently and download the requested files, since no sensitive data is provided.

Among the new functions are the clearly arranged administration of the downloaded files via one’s own dashboard as well as sharing customer-

specific picture galleries in the form of shopping baskets by the dealer. The new service makes data transfer between Daiber, its dealers and their target groups much easier and faster with the data really being current. Tobias Seidel, head of marketing and business development at Daiber, said: “We attach particular importance to taking work off our dealers’ hands. In the future, they will no longer have to maintain and provide their own image databases – instead, from now on our dealers will be able to share their project-specific selections with their customers with a click.”

Among the new functions of the media cloud is, besides the extended single search function, a new multiple search function with the option to filter the search for several search terms at the same time. With both search functions, users can differentiate according to media and products.

With the multiple search function, both via a manual entry and an imported excel list, dealers can search for several files at the same time.

This is much more user-friendly than the previous version and provides the opportunity for dealers, service providers and other partners always to work with the latest data.

itself from the Russell Athletic consumer business. Ultimately, it is believed that this new logo alignment will present greater brand awareness for Russell in Europe.

The new website is based on the same company-wide system landscape. This allows Russell to generate plenty of technical synergies and to ensure a globally aligned brand presence. The website is designed to be very user-friendly and is now also geared more strongly to B2B customers’ needs. The B2B order portal is a lot more appealing in design now and orders can be placed across brands (Russell Europe and Fruit of the Loom). The new logo and the new website are already live and a lot of positive feedback has already been received.
