nap Products and The Pen Warehouse were delighted to sponsor the BPMA Sustainability Conference on 8th June. The conference, organised by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA), brought together industry experts, businesses, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable practices and promote environmental stewardship within the promotional merchandise sector.
The conference served as a platform for industry professionals to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore the latest trends in sustainable merchandise. It also marked the official launch of the BPMA’s StepForward Pledge, an
initiative aimed at encouraging and recognising businesses committed to sustainability.
The conference commenced with a Networking Breakfast, allowing participants to engage with their peers and establish valuable connections. The day’s programme included speeches by notable figures and an interactive workshop led by Sarah Duncan, the author of The Sustainable Business Book. The workshop focussed on assessing the industry’s progress in terms of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. Speakers addressed various topics such as certification, recycling, and re-purposing promotional merchandise. Additionally, end user guests provided insights into their expectations of the industry regarding sustainability. The conference concluded with a member discussion panel, where participants shared their learnings and ideas for future sustainable practices. Graphtec GB appointed as new UK distribution partner for sign & display

raphtec GB, a leading provider of cutting and printing solutions, has announced that it has been appointed as a UK distributor for Mutoh Europe’s sign and display and UV printer range. This partnership means that Graphtec GB now delivers complete wide format printing and finishing solutions, and ensures comprehensive nationwide coverage for Mutoh.
Graphtec GB’s managing director, Tom Kneale, said: “We are widely recognised across the UK as a top supplier to the wide format graphics production and sign-making industry, of everything except printers. We have been actively researching the market for the right printer partner, and we are very happy to have agreed on this deal with Mutoh Europe. Tom adds, “Our team have spent a lot of time learning all they can about the Mutoh products, and we are now ready to invite our resellers to check them out, test them in action and bring customers to see them. WRAP welcomes UKFT project W
RAP is delighted to be a project partner in the UKFT £4 million project to develop
and pilot a pioneering fully-integrated, automated sorting and pre-processing plant for waste textiles towards diverting thousands of tonnes from landfill each year.
WRAP’s CEO Harriet Lamb: Harriet Lamb, CEO WRAP, said: “An automated sorting and pre-processing plant for non-
rewearable textiles will bring us a step closer to commercialised fibre-to-fibre recycling in the UK, and a step away from our reliance on virgin raw materials. Textiles is fourth behind housing, transport, and food in terms of the environmental damage it causes, and this important will help lighten the footprint.” “We’re excited to work with UKFT, Innovate UK and members of our Textiles 2030 voluntary agreement.”
