ew products are on the horizon adding to the ever-growing range of R-Jet PRO DTF equipment.
Later this year will see Resolute move to a new location. Our new custom built warehouse and offi ces will offer ten times our current storage capacity helping to reduce installation lead times and make room for the larger offi ces required for the ever growing Resolute sales and print team. The Print Show 2023 will see the offi cial launch of a new DTF
fl at-bed cutter, capable of generating automatic contour cuts for DTF textile and UV transfers, it can also produce fi le bounding box straight edge cuts. A popular cut mode is the tab cut, this leaves the transfers attached to the carrier sheet by its corners meaning it can be transported in a roll or sheet format with the transfers simply popping out when ready to be pressed. The cutter will be competitively priced and can be used for cutting other printed or plain substrates as well as both forms of DTF. Its vacuum belt allows for gang sheets to be loaded manually and cut individually, the cutter also has a roll mode allowing a full roll to be loaded and cut. Driven by the Resolute RIP printer software the media once cut is automatically fed into a collection hopper.
2023 has been a particularly busy year for Resolute. As the dust finally settles after Brexit and then Covid, its back to business. As we approach our 14th year in the garment and promotional product decoration industry Resolute continues to grow exponentially.
new Artistri P1600 DTF inks, which are proving to be highly popular due to their wider colour gamut range and super soft feel. The P1600 has the benefi t of OEKO-TEX, GOTS & HAPS (hazardous pollutant free) meaning it is one of the most certifi ed eco-friendly high quality DTF inks available. Most DTF printers when tested used at least 30% less white ink than normal meaning this ink goes a lot further and requires less cleaning cycles throughout the day.
The R-Jet PRO DTFô range will see a new powderless DTF system launching later this year, previously the powderless DTF printer was more suitable for super soft images pressed onto polyester fabrics. A new stronger printable adhesive means the powderless system now has added durability for cotton and blended fabrics, opening it up for general use. With smaller printers on the horizon the powderless range will continue to grow placing itself in smaller retail environments where powder or large dryers are not suitable.
The R&D team have also exceeded themselves – so far this year we have introduced the Resolute Premium EVO, a custom manufactured DTF fi lm that is the fi rst universal hot & cold peel fi lm that has an invisible barrier to protect against humidity and static. During 2023 we have also introduced two new adhesive powders, our sublimation blocking powder can be used for printing problem polyesters, including sublimated football shirts. The second powder is a high durability option which offers greater stretch and is suitable for 60c washing for workwear and is tested up to 50 washes. This brings our DTF adhesive options up to 4, no other UK company offers as many bespoke DTF printing solutions as Resolute. But its not all bigger and faster at Resolute, due to launch at The Print Show in September is our new smaller footprint DTF UV. This long awaited addition means the automated DTF UV process will now be available with a smaller footprint, fi tting through a standard door and requiring a standard 13 amp socket. The new DTF UV printer benefi ts from on board automatic lamination and can be used with stand-alone roll fed cutters and also the new fl at bed cutter launching this year. Decorating promotional items with UV just got a whole lot quicker and easier with the new R-Jet PRO DTF UVi. The process is suitable for use on many items with no jigs required, including bottles, car parts, alarm boxes, hard hats, glass and many others. You no longer need to feed the product through the UV printer, simply apply it to the product in situ.
Last but not least, Club Resolute, the exclusive R-Jet PRO DTF owners only club gets a re-vamp in Q3 this year. Overfl ow trade print prices are now fi xed rate per metre, with the capacity to produce over 500 metres per day our members never need to turn a job away and risk losing it to a competitor when they are too busy. The confi dential service has grown over the last year and will soon include a transfer cutting service for both textile and UV DTF transfers.
