Craghoppers Expert is the premium offering of true performance outdoor-ready clothing for working professionals. T
he brand has placed a huge emphasis on offering high quality, socially responsible and sustainably made garments since its re-introduction to the market in late 2021.
Customers have come to expect planet friendly and high-quality outdoor garments from Craghoppers Expert in the last two years. The brand’s sustainable ethos has been a part of its parent company’s DNA for many years now, and the same planet- friendly mindset has been woven into Craghoppers Expert from its inception. The consistent desire to develop the Craghoppers Expert range with newer and more sustainable pieces that are designed to meet the needs of working professions, leading the brand to debut the new Craghoppers Workwear collection for early 2024.
The Craghoppers Workwear collection includes a complete selection of work- ready kit beginning with the Cawood Hybrid Jacket. This jacket blends the planet-friendly warmth of a Craghoppers Expert synthetic down jacket with first rate freedom of movement developed in the brand’s
softshell jackets for work that requires plenty of movement in cold environments. The Cawood Shell Jacket, Elland Soft Shell Jacket and Morley Fleece Jacket complete the selection of jackets. The Cawood is a hardwearing waterproof, made with a polyester ripstop for rigorous work in downpours. The Elland Soft Shell Jacket and Morley Fleece Jacket offer warmth on the job but are finished with Craghoppers Expert’s plant based DWR. All three jackets are adjustable throughout for a comfy fit and feature plenty of storage space to keep essentials handy.
The Craghoppers Workwear range comes with two soft-to-the-touch base layers, the Wakefield Pocket T-Shirt, and the Oulston High Reach Hooded Top. Both are made from organic cotton and designed to offer maximum mobility, as seen with the Ouston’s high-reach shoulders.
Moving to legwear, Craghoppers Expert has combined its extensive knowledge of outdoor- ready apparel with the everyday requirements of working professionals to create the leading choice in trousers for work.
The Sheffield Holster Trouser is made from a lightweight grid softshell and Cordura
panelling for a sturdy trouser with plenty of stretch for active work. Featuring a total of 16 pockets, including an RFID security pocket and removable holster pockets, the trousers also come with articulated knees and a hammer loop amongst many other helpful additions that make these trousers the ideal work companion.
The Bedale Trouser offers a choice for those in need of something more heavyweight. Made from a Better Cotton cotton and elastane heavy basket weave with Cordura panelling, these trousers come with triangle reinforcement stitching to the crotch, coupled with odour control patches to help prevent splitting and keep a fresh feeling throughout vigorous work. The Bedale Trouser also shares many features found in the Sheffield Holster Trouser. Knee pockets for knee protectors, a hammer loop and plenty of storage space are present alongside a part elasticated waist with articulated knees are added for freer movement. “We drew upon important elements from our main collection such as true functionality, strong technologies, and sustainability, like our plant based DWRs and use of part recycled materials. This was to guarantee that each product in the range was held to the same high standards of enduring quality that our customers and those in the market have come to expect.”
Available to purchase in early 2024, Craghoppers Workwear can be mixed with any styles and colours in the Craghoppers Expert range to create a complete wardrobe that is ready for work.
