Virtuix unveils “Gunslinger” game for Omni Arena

Virtuix, creator of the “Omni Arena” virtual reality esports attraction, has released “Gunslinger,” the 7th game for Omni Arena. In Gunslinger, teams of up to four players work together to protect a Western town from a gang of plundering bandits. Players score points by safeguarding the town’s resources and fending off bandits with a variety of weapons scattered across town. Gunslinger offers two rounds each

time and provides varied gameplay that gives players lots of reasons to play again and again. Get ready to fire double-barreled shotguns, kill outlaws, and blow up some dynamite!

Gunslinger will be added to Omni Arena’s weekly and monthly esports tournaments. The top teams on Gunslinger’s global leaderboard will win cash prizes from a $100,000 annual prize pool sponsored by Virtuix.

Fly with your friends

Frontgrid, the creator of the award winning virtual flying experience, ParadropVR has launched ParadropVR Pod.

ParadropVR brings together motion-based hardware with gamified environments to create unique location-based experience. The original hardware, called Rize, offers a transformational solo flying experience, inviting participants to choose their own journey around environments as diverse as the city, desert and even outer space.

ParadropVR Pod is a new compact version of the original Rize, making it ideal for FECs, arcades, theme parks, cinemas, cruise ships and many other LBE venues.

The new Discover Series of games, available on Pod, allows flyers to select their own character and enables users to collect points as they soar through hoops in the sky.

Matt Wells, Co-founder, and CEO of Frontgrid and Co-inventor of ParadropVR said: “Pod is multiplayer, accessible for all ages, designed to be attendant free, includes touchless payment, it’s easy to install and it’s also possible to use it for mobile installations. With the multiplayer aspect to Pod, we are really excited as to the community element that will bring. You can fly around with your friends, race them, try to beat each other’s scores.”

Valo Motion Introduces ValoArena

Finnish mixed reality gaming company, Valo Motion, has unveiled its new immersive mixed reality indoor space, ValoArena. The first public installation opened at SuperPark in Vantaa, Finland, on 19 February and feature three different games launched within the platform.

Designed for activity parks and other indoor leisure and hospitality spaces, the freeform game follows ValoClimb and ValoJump, its other mixed reality systems, requiring no attendant or wearables for gameplay. In ValoArena, groups of up to six players choose between three different games to compete together in a simultaneously physical and virtual space on an arena-like stage where spectators can watch and cheer.

Valo Motion is currently offering the product to selected installation locations internationally and taking new orders for Q3 2022 onwards.

Newest VR Space Bumper Car Attraction

Expanding the reputable VR Bumper Car line licensed by VR Coaster, bundled with the interactive VR game Cyber Blaster, SPREE Interactive is now offering VR Battery Powered Space Bumper Cars for venues looking to enhance their guest experience with the trending exploration inside the virtual world.

Following the Pick-Up VR Bumper Car attraction Cyber Blaster launched early last year, in partnership with I.E. Park Soli Car, the VR Space Bumper Car attraction differentiates with 4 circular battery powered cars only requiring a floor space of 7.5m x 7.5m or 25ft x 25ft, making it a more suitable fit for smaller FECs or locations with limited spacing.

“It is evident the vast curiosity of the virtual space is continuing to grow rapidly and after experiencing a popular demand with the Floor Pick-Up VR Bumper Cars we wanted to offer a similar worldwide solution for smaller FECs that sees physical objects of the real world accompanying players into the virtual world — in this case a hover vehicle,” said Paul Collimore, commercial director, SPREE Interactive. The Cyber Blaster title, which takes place in the not so distant future portraying a second life, sees players jumping into hover vehicles and protecting the virtual world from an unknown techno virus.
