The gateway to better guest experiences

Senior Marketing Manager at Gateway Ticketing, Greg Banecker, discusses what attractions can do to drive revenue growth through integration

A

s the industry seeks to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, attractions across the world are looking to improve their operations and increase revenue. One of the most effective ways to

achieve this is through an integrated solution designed to enhance the guest experience – and that is exactly what we offer at Gateway Ticketing with our Galaxy Guest Experience solution. The Galaxy Guest Experience integrates ticketing, admission control,

resource management, group sales, online ticket sales, retail, food and beverages, plus membership, pass, and donor management. It also features robust reporting tools and an integrated CRM, and provides theme parks, zoos, aquariums, museums and many other attractions with the unified system they need. In the past year, we have welcomed over 20 new attractions from all over

the world into the Gateway family. We have seen an incredible return to pre- COVID operations in regard to the growth of our customer base – and it is through adopting the Galaxy Guest Experience solution that our clients have likewise been able to recover from the pandemic through optimising their operations and driving revenue growth. As the requirements of the attractions industry evolve, we are further

developing the Galaxy Guest Experience solution. Something we are focusing on is best-in-class digital ticket purchase and delivery features, adding to our already robust feature set of self-service and contactless options for kiosks, online ticketing and membership and pass self-management. While the industry is well on the way to recovery from the pandemic, tools

that address staffing issues and increase efficiency will be a requirement. This is therefore not only an immediate area of focus for Gateway Ticking, but will continue to be going forward. Our Galaxy Connect platform continues to drive increased revenue for

our customer and Online Travel Agency (OTA) partners. Galaxy Connect allows attractions to sell live gate-ready tickets through any number of OTAs with just a single integration. Tickets can be delivered digitally and scanned immediately at the gate. In the past year, we have welcomed many new Online Travel Agencies to our Galaxy Connect platform, increasing the positive network effect of the platform. Our CRM+ product continues to offer an integrated CRM that collects all

transactional data and collates it in one system. This enables attractions to view information on each guest and aggregate information about all guests as well. The result is the ability to make better business decisions, improve marketing, and personalise the guest experience during every single visit. Current Galaxy users can register on our site to attend our European

Galaxy User Group Meeting and North American Galaxy User Group Meeting this year, both of which are being held in September. Gateway Ticketing will also be exhibiting this year at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Annual Conference, IAAPA Expo Europe and IAAPA Expo in Orlando.
