Future theme park leaders graduate at Gulliver’s


A group of future theme park managers have graduated from a bespoke training scheme run by Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts.

Eight trainee managers have completed the year-long programme, designed to develop leaders to work at any one of Gulliver’s UK sites, located in Warrington, Milton Keynes, Matlock Bath and Rotherham. Now in its seventh year, the


programme offers trainees opportunities and experience across different areas of the business on a series of placements. The graduates – drawn from across the UK – have managed their own bespoke projects, received mentoring from senior Gulliver’s staff and had access to external development coaches and experts. Having successfully completed the training programme, they will now step into leadership roles across the company. One graduate is Adam Fletcher, 28, from Standish in Wigan. He has a degree in Geography and Geology from Manchester University, and has secured a role as rides manager at Gulliver’s World in Warrington.


Tornado Springs opens


Danish theming firm MK Themed Attractions assisted UK family park Paultons Park in getting its brand-new themed area, Tornado Springs, ready for 12 April by producing and delivering customised props for the entire area. 

It’s a very hands-on job which I love as it helps keep things fresh and interesting. “The higher management and directors actively seek out creativity and suggestions from the trainees, making you feel you are helping to shape the future of Gulliver’s and that you are an integral part of the company. “I hope to continue developing myself within the rides department at Gulliver’s World and to one day work my way up to operations manager or higher.
