Drayton Manor reopens with new themed land


he UK’s ultimate family fun destination, Drayton Manor Resort is thrilled to announce the eagerly awaited opening of its newest land, Frontier Falls, set to debut on Sunday March 24th 2024 just in time for the Easter break.

Launching as part of the main season opening for the theme park and resort, Frontier Falls promises an unforgettable adventure for guests of all ages in an exciting new Wild West themed land. Theme-park enthusiasts should prepare to saddle up and experience the excitement of the Wild West like never before!


Visitors to Frontier Falls can expect: • The Falls Theatre: a state-of-the-art 4D venue showcasing an iconic Looney Tunes show. Guests will be transported to into the zany world of their favourite characters - Wile E Coyote & Road Runner - as part of a sensory experience


• Blasting Barrels & Co ride: an exciting Western twist on the classic teacup ride


• Sheriff’s Showdown: an interactive shoot-out ride to challenge coordination and reflexes


• Wild West Area: complete with the immersive Wild West Street that will transport thrill-seekers back in time to an era of cowboys, outlaws, and frontier towns. You may even have to get ready to be a part of the daily shoot-out!

In addition, guests can also embark on an exciting Easter hunt to mark the festivities, where they’ll adventure through an immersive trail to uncover sweet treats at the end. Additionally, the park will host a variety of Easter-themed Thomas Land balcony shows, street entertainment throughout the day, and classic Rory shows on the main stage, ensuring an egg-cellent Easter celebration for all!

erlin Entertainments has announced an eight per cent rise in revenues for 2023, alongside a new investment.


Merlin Entertainments has announced an eight per cent rise in revenues for 2023, alongside a new investment.


A total of 62 million guests, an increase of seven million from the previous years, visited attractions across Merlin brands.


Group revenues rose to £2.1bn and adjusted EBITDA to £662m.


Merlin also announced the acquisition of the Orlando Wheel at Icon Park in Florida, US, which is the tallest observation wheel on the US’ east coast and is co-located with Merlin’s existing Sea Life aquarium and Madame Tussauds attraction. Now to be rebranded as “Orlando Eye,” the company says it will strengthen its presence in the US tourist gateway hub.


The acquisition now gives Merlin 141 attractions across 23 countries.
