Maxtron Show Lighting has been lighting up the world lately. Park V5.5 MSL Controller
M
axtron Show Lighting (MSL) has been lighting up this industry for over two decades now. Worldwide, hundreds of LED lighting systems are powered by the company, which holds distribution
centres across the globe in the USA, Europe and Hong Kong. MSL has now made an exciting move to a new home in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, from which it will now manufacture its products in addition to its already-established manufacturing facilities in Dalian, China. Production has started and the first deliveries of the Maxtron products
have left the 1500 sq m facility of Maxtron Show Lighting FZ-LLC. The move makes MSL the very first producer of programmable LED light systems that are manufactured entirely in the UAE. From the assembly of LED light modules to computer boards for the control
system, polycarbonate products, production of control cabinets and the assembly of entire show light systems, everything can be done under one roof in the new Middle Eastern facility. In addition, all electronic elements, including controls, are now made in the UAE.
It goes without saying that the UAE is an incredible location when it comes
to distribution, given the fact that courier and air freight to most parts of the world takes less than three days. For MSL, the move also opens completely new opportunities in the growing
MENA market. The business has already seen its first orders being placed for amusement rides in Saudi Arabian parks. Indeed, MSL has had a presence at locations in Dubai from 2017 and 2020 respectively. While this recent move within the MENA market is a major advancement
for MSL, the business has more going on in the rest of the world as well. The company’s innovative V5.5 control system has recently entered operation on a coaster wheel and a parachute tower in Mexico at Vidanta World, where the lights are synchronised with a special effect show at the bordering lake. Elsewhere at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, the V5.5 system has
started operating as part of phase one of the destination’s latest lighting project . Phases two and three will see the lighting up of the windows and façade of the hotel.
