AttractionBiz: Turning Ambitious Ideas into Memorable Experiences
A
ttractionBiz is a Danish theming and experience company helping attractions, leisure destinations, shopping centres and cultural venues transform ambitious ideas into memorable environments. Founded by attractions industry veteran Lars Nielsen, the company combines creative insight, commercial understanding and reliable project delivery – from the first sketch to final installation. Lars began his attractions career at Tivoli Gardens in 2005 and has since spent more than two decades in the Danish and European leisure industry. His background spans attraction operations, tourism, sales, marketing and large-scale theming projects for destinations
including LEGOLAND, Liseberg, Europa-Park and Phantasialand. Years of active involvement in IAAPA’s EMEA committee work have also given him an extensive international network and a deep understanding of what operators need: creativity that works in the real world, meets deadlines and delivers measurable value.
Today, AttractionBiz provides concept development, storytelling, design, 3D modelling, technical development, project management, production and installation. With production and warehousing in the EU and a selected network of specialist craftspeople and production partners, the company delivers everything from fibreglass characters, props and scenic painting to carpentry, metalwork, artificial rockwork, graphics and complete themed environments. This flexible structure allows AttractionBiz to assemble the right team for each assignment and offer solutions scaled to the client’s vision, timeframe and budget. Its role can range from supplying one distinctive centrepiece to coordinating multidisciplinary delivery, giving clients one experienced and accessible partner throughout the creative process. Recent projects demonstrate the company’s

range. At Vienna’s Prater, AttractionBiz transformed the queue and introductory dark ride section of the popular family coaster Die Gesengte Sau into an immersive, richly detailed environment. Other assignments include themed figures for Nigloland, an experiential water playground at Taunus

Wunderland, magical installations for Clausholm Castle, themed elements for Phenie’s Shakes & Pancakes at Phantasialand, and family-focused environments for retail and leisure destinations across Europe.
AttractionBiz also creates seasonal decoration and professional festive lighting, develops bespoke playground theming and supports clients with strategic advice, sourcing and industry connections. Whether the task is a single character, a reimagined queue, a Christmas experience or an entirely new attraction area, the approach remains the same: listen closely, understand the commercial and operational reality, and deliver beyond expectations. For AttractionBiz, theming is not decoration alone. It is the art of creating places where stories become physical, guests feel emotionally connected, and happy memories are made – with passion, craftsmanship and dependable execution at every stage.
