gameplay. Guests do not simply watch the action around them; they participate, aim, score and compete throughout the experience. This active participation is one of the key
strengths of the attraction. A passive film is often experienced in the same way each time, while an interactive game can produce a different outcome with every group. Scores, reactions and group dynamics continually change the experience, supporting repeat visits. C360 is also highly social. It allows families,
teenagers, school groups, corporate groups and mixed-age audiences to participate together and immediately compare results. From an operator’s perspective, the attraction combines several important qualities: compact use of space, strong visual impact, group capacity, repeatability and the ability to support branded or customised content.
Explorer 5D: high-capacity stand- up motion Querion also features Explorer 5D, a standing motion platform experience for up to 50 guests. The installation features what is believed to be the world’s largest stand-up motion platform by guest capacity. Instead of sitting in conventional theatre seats,
guests stand together on a moving platform synchronised with large-scale projected media and special effects. This creates a highly immersive group experience while keeping the attraction accessible to larger visitor groups. The format is particularly relevant for indoor
destinations because it offers high capacity, strong physical engagement and a clear sense of shared participation. It also supports different types of media content, making it suitable for adventure, nature, fantasy or educational themes.
Immersive Experience Theater: flexible content for repeat visitation Another important part of the Querion attraction mix is the Immersive Experience Theater. This installation uses large-scale wall projections and interactive floor projections to transport guests into

different environments inspired by natural history, wildlife and discovery. The format brings a style often associated with
temporary immersive exhibitions into a permanent indoor park environment. This is important from an operational perspective, because the same technical infrastructure can present multiple shows. At Querion, the theatre can feature shows such
as Jurassic and Planet Wildlife, allowing visitors to experience different themes within the same space. Instead of rebuilding the physical attraction, the operator can refresh the venue through new content, supporting seasonal programming, repeat visitation and a longer operational life for the installation. The theatre combines visual storytelling with
educational themes, making it suitable for families, school groups and visitors of different ages. It also creates a more flexible use of space, as the same room can support different shows, audiences and programming strategies.
A complete media-based attraction mix Together, the attractions at Querion show how media, motion and interactivity can work together inside one destination. Some experiences are cinematic and emotional,
such as FlyXD. Others are competitive and social, such as C360. Explorer 5D brings large groups into a shared physical motion experience, while the Immersive Experience Theater adds flexible storytelling and educational value. This variety is important because modern family destinations must serve different audiences within
the same visit. Children, teenagers, parents, school groups and tourists may all respond to different types of engagement. A successful indoor park therefore needs both spectacle and participation, both story and replay value. Querion demonstrates how these different
layers can be combined. The result is not just a set of individual attractions, but a more complete entertainment environment where each format supports the overall visitor journey.
From technology to guest experience Although technology is central to the project, the real measure of success is the guest experience. For Attraktion!, the objective was not simply
to install screens, platforms and control systems. Each attraction had to create an immediate and understandable experience for visitors. FlyXD needed to feel like flight. C360 needed to feel like real competition. Explorer 5D needed to create group motion without conventional seating. The Immersive Experience Theater needed to offer flexible storytelling with the possibility of changing shows over time. This focus is essential in today’s market. Guests
are familiar with sophisticated digital content in their everyday lives, so location-based attractions must offer something more physical, social and memorable than what can be experienced at home. The physical scale, group participation and
synchronised motion of the Querion attractions help achieve this. Visitors are placed inside the experience rather than simply watching from the outside.
Looking ahead to IAAPA Expo Europe Attraktion! will present FlyXD at IAAPA Expo Europe in London, where the team will meet with operators, developers and partners interested in new media-based attraction formats. Visitors to the Attraktion! booth #S2737 will
be able to learn more about the technologies, capacities, content options and potential applications for different markets.
