Querion: A New European Reference for Media-Based Indoor Attractions
Attraktion! brings flying theater, interactive gameplay and immersive storytelling together at Poland´s newest indoor entertainment destination.
T
he opening of Querion Hypermedia Entertainment Park in Piechowice, Poland, marks an important new reference project
for Attraktion! and a clear example of how media- based attractions are evolving within modern indoor entertainment venues. Located in the Karkonosze region, Querion has
been developed as a futuristic indoor destination combining cinematic media, motion, interactive gameplay, immersive storytelling and educational content within one integrated visitor journey. Rather than relying on one single headline attraction, the park brings together several complementary formats, each offering a different type of guest engagement. For Attraktion!, the project is significant
because it demonstrates how compact media- based attractions can support a complete indoor entertainment concept. The installations at Querion include FlyXD, C360 Interactive Rotating Dark Ride, Explorer 5D and an Immersive Experience Theater. Together, they create a rhythm of flying, playing, competing, discovering and learning.

developers. Indoor venues today are expected to deliver more than a collection of separate attractions. Guests want experiences that feel connected, shareable and worth repeating, while operators need formats that are efficient, reliable and adaptable over time.
FlyXD: a flying theatre for indoor destinations One of the central attractions at Querion is FlyXD, Attraktion!’s flying theatre experience. The system installed in Poland accommodates 50 guests and combines large-format media, dynamic motion and synchronised effects to create the sensation of flight. At Querion, FlyXD is presented within the wider
destination environment rather than as a stand- alone cinema. This integration is important. The attraction becomes part of the park’s overall story and contributes to a larger visitor journey. For operators, FlyXD offers the emotional
impact associated with flying theatre experiences while remaining suitable for indoor parks, family
entertainment centres, resorts and mixed-use leisure developments. Its media-based format also allows for future content changes, seasonal programming and the introduction of new films over time. The attraction is designed to deliver a strong shared experience. Guests travel together through cinematic worlds, creating a collective emotional response that is difficult to achieve through individual screen-based entertainment.
C360 Interactive Rotating Dark Ride: competitive gameplay in motion While FlyXD focuses on cinematic immersion, C360 Interactive Rotating Dark Ride introduces a very different type of engagement. The installation at Querion accommodates 44
guests on two rotating platforms operating over a shared motion system. Guests take part in Angry Birds Pigvasion, an interactive game experience based on Rovio’s globally recognised IP. The format combines 360-degree projection, rotation, dynamic motion and competitive
