The PLANET LEGOLAND experience is situated at the heart of the theme parks in Windsor, Billund, Deutschland, California, Florida, Malaysia, Japan as well as the newest LEGOLAND Park in New York. Guests can take part in an immersive build experience as they are encouraged to build, unbuild and rebuild the theme park of their dreams.

The activation, which saw Katapult provide strategy, design, audio design and executive production services, was part of The LEGO Group’s Rebuild the World campaign.

Each PLANET LEGOLAND experience features a two-metre-wide globe as the focal point of the attraction and provides a platform for guests to attach their own creations. Build tables include LEGO models for inspiration that capture the campaign’s message of creativity. Katapult worked alongside the LEGO workshop to design and build these models, such as the Tortoise with a rocket pack and wheels. The Katapult team also worked on the interior and exterior of the existing park spaces to create branded signage and decor. Martin Weber Thomsen from The LEGO Group said, “Working with Katapult to deliver our Rebuild The World Planet LEGOLAND experience across LEGOLAND Parks globally has been a pleasure.
