accesso partners with Experiencias Xcaret
accesso Technology Group is bringing its ticketing and point-of-sale platform to Experiencias Xcaret, a network of popular parks, tours and attractions that highlight the nature, culture, history and beauty of Mexico. Located in Riviera Maya, just 35 miles (56 km) from Cancun, Experiencias Xcaret will utilise the accesso Siriusware solution to simplify operations and streamline guest transactions at its seven experiences, parks and tours. Once implementation is complete, accesso’s technology will be fully integrated and linked across the Xcaret properties.
The accesso Siriusware technology, which offers on-site ticketing, eCommerce, point-of-sale and guest management software, will operate across more than 400 workstations throughout the destination. Known for its sustainable eco-tourism attractions, Experiencias Xcaret will use a number of accesso Siriusware software modules, including retail, food and beverage, access control, rentals, reservations and gift cards.
New Cedar Point Shores waterpark opens

edar Point began as a simple bathing beach and bathhouse in 1870 Sandusky, Ohio. Today, Cedar Point is a summertime destination for families with 70 rides, including 17 roller coasters, a mile-long beach, five hotel
properties, beautiful marinas and now, the new Cedar Point Shores Waterpark. Cedar Point Shores is home to 17 brand new water attractions geared for
everyone in the family. Thrill-seekers will experience near free-fall on the new Point Plummet, a six-story aqua-drop body slide from WhiteWater. Riders first climb into individual capsules at the top of the tower when after an ominous countdown of, “3-2-1,” the floor will drop from underneath riders’ feet. On the same tower as Point Plummet, Portside Plunge provides thrills of a different kind, five stories above the ground. Riders can experience the slide alone or with a friend on an inner tube as they’re sent through an enclosed tunnel, then shot out into the sun over unique airtime hills and into a pool at the end of the ride.
Justice League: Battle for Metropolis Opens at Six Flags Over Georgia
Justice League: Battle for Metropolis is a high action and interactive ride by Sally Corp. Located inside a 22,000 square foot (2,044 sq m) building in the all-new Metropolis Park at Six Flags Over Georgia. Guests tag alongside their favorite DC Comics Super Heroes in an epic battle through 4D effects of wind, fire and gas to defeat the Super Villains. “There’s no better way to celebrate the park’s 50th anniversary season than
the unveiling of the most innovative and multi-faceted attraction the park has ever built,” said Six Flags Atlanta Properties Park President Dale Kaetzel.
