Ejecutivo autoriza para licitación de hotel casino en Paysandú


Mediante una Resolución emitida por el Ministerio de Turismo y el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, y firmado por el presidente de Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, se ha autorizado un llamado a licitación pública internacional para la construcción, y operación de un hotel casino bajo explotación privada en la ciudad de Paysandú, tal como se indica en los numerales 1, 2 y 3 de la Resolución, que comprende “Pliego de Condiciones Particulares y Anexos que se adjunta a la presente Resolución y se considera parte integrante”, del proyecto. El artículo 6to de la Resolución detalla que la referida concesión comenzará a regir a partir de la fecha del contrato de concesión y se extenderá por un plazo de 20 (veinte) años, prorrogable a criterio de la Administración, quien podrá acceder a ello previo informe favorable de la Auditoría Interna de la Nación y del Gobierno Departamental de Paysandú.” Asimismo, la inversión mínima exigible “en la construcción y alhajamiento del Hotel de lujo más la sala de casino deberá ser igual o superior a la suma de U$S 20.000.00, pudiéndose imputar únicamente a la inversión hasta el 10 por ciento del precio del predio donde se asentará la misma”,

Government authorizes tender for casino hotel in Paysandú


A call for an international public bidding has been authorized for the construction and operation of a casino hotel concession under private investment in the city of Paysandú. This follows a Resolution issued by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Economy and Finance and signed by the President of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou. As indicated in numerals 1, 2 and 3 of the Resolution, this includes “Specifications and Annexes which are attached to this Resolution and are considered an integral part” of the hotel casino project. Article 6 of the Resolution details that the concession will take effect from the date when the concession contract is signed and will be extended for a period of 20 years,
