ASCEND mentoring scheme to launch at iGB Affi liate London
iGB Affi liate London has selected International Women’s Day (March 8) to announce interim details of its ASCEND mentoring initiative which will be formally launched at the show. ASCEND will support women early on in their affi liate careers through the provision of time, advice, feedback and guidance delivered by colleagues who are established in the sector and have experienced the issues and challenges. Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director responsible for
the development of the iGB brand, said: “The theme for International Women’s Day 2022 is ‘Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’ using #BreakTheBias. Whilst glass ceilings are not as common in gaming as they are in other more conservative industry sectors we all know that
there’s still some way to go which is why we want to launch and develop ASCEND.” Barton added: “Rather than present ASCEND as
a fait accompli we felt it important for it not to be a top-down organisation. Instead, we want to use iGB Affi liate London as an opportunity to meet with women in the igaming and affi liate sectors, listen to their experiences and establish the best ways of addressing the issues that are important to them and make best use of our resources as an industry. I see ASCEND as being much more of a movement than a corporate initiative or some window dressing. “There are some fantastic female role models
connected with iGB Affi liate London, and ASCEND will help harness and deploy their insight, knowledge and energy.”
Zitro to combine its Experience and University events
Zitro will be holding its Zitro Experience event on March 29 in conjunction with the upcoming SAGSE ’22. During this event Zitro will showcase its latest innovations in Latin America, including Zitro’s new GLARE cabinet line. The GLARE cabinet line includes: Altius Glare, Illusion Glare, Allure Glare and Fusion Glare. Zitro will also showcase the premium multigame
Wheel of Legends, which includes four exclusive game titles and themed features, along with the new Megashare Lounge shared progressive system. Zitro Experience will be held on March 29 at
19:00pm at La Escondida – de Olivos, and Zitro University will take place on March 30 from 10:00am
to 14:45pm at the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel, prior to the grand opening of SAGSE’22. The Zitro University event will take place in
collaboration with the University of Palermo, one of the most prominent in Latin America, and will include an informative session by Professor Patricio O’Gorman of the University of Palermo.
NOVOMATIC launches the DIAMOND X 2.32
NOVOMATIC has launched the DIAMOND X 2.32, a new upright cabinet for the international casino markets. The DIAMOND X 2.32’s most intriguing visual
elements are the facelift of the grill on the front door panel as well as the indirect silhouette lighting concept, featuring LEDs for the game-synched colour effects. Main monitor features are two large 32” full HD game screens with PCAP touch on the bottom screen. In addition, an integrated topper blends in with the machine to cater for enhanced Progressives support and high visibility on the gaming fl oor. The standard player interface signals a return to a purist
approach with a straightforward button deck. The discerning operator can optionally choose to specify a fl ush 15.6”
TouchDeck player interface that is complemented by two

Player convenience is further catered for by
