ultima cifras se indica que origina al inicio de la década del siglo pasado.
Ha sido como el despertar de una larga pesadilla, después de las
encerronas causadas por la pandemia, y ahora este país “mais grande do mundo” Se convierte en el motor mundial del despegue de la industria del juego presencial con la promesa de abrir 30 casinos en complejos integrados, más de 1.500 salas de bingo, la formalización de la popular lotería callejera, Jogo do bicho, además del desarrollo del juego online. alistamos para salir rumbo a mi tierra espiritual, Cartagena de Indias, donde los días 15 al 18 de marzo se celebra el GAT Expo 2022. Por supuesto que nos quedaremos en la región desde entonces para empalmar con el SAGSE Latam de fi nes de marzo en la elegante Buenos Aires. ¡Por allá nos vemos!

ll the efforts of hundreds of legislators and professionals in the gaming industry, where the Brazilian gaming media is at the forefront, have been the trigger to have Brazil’s House of Representatives, approve gambling legislation PL 442/91, which by its last digits indicate its origin at the
beginning of the decade in the last century. It has been like the awakening from a long nightmare, after the
lockdowns caused by the pandemic. Now this country, referred to for its natural and cultural munifi cence
as “mais grande do mundo” is set to become the global engine for a new take-off of the land-based gaming industry, with the promise of opening 30 casinos in integrated resorts, more than 1,500 bingo halls, full formalization of the popular, though illegal street lottery, Jogo do bicho, in addition to the development of online gambling. One can well ask, Have I have died and gone to heaven? As space is of the essence, we will be running other regional news in our sister magazine Casino International Americano, February/March edition, or digital (http://www.

ready to fl y to my spiritual home, Cartagena de Indias, where the GAT Expo 2022 is celebrated from March 15 to 18; and of course, we will remain in the region, as the SAGSE Latam expo event will take place at the end of
March in elegant Buenos Aires. See you all there!
