JCM Global: Connecting, Listening, Partnering
JCM Global, one of the most established names in the cash handling sector – with a history spanning more than half a century – is undergoing something of a revolution.
T
he signs are there for those who look – firstly in the slightly more casual appearance of staff on the newly redesigned stand at this year’s ICE show. The whole team – from management down were sporting bright white Nike trainers. Then there has been the
unprecedented move into the cashless arena with the investment in the Game Payment Technology app. It’s a far cry from the company’s background manufacturing cash registers in Japan. “We have to move with the times,” says Payam Zadeh, General
Manager, EMEA. “We have gone through some unprecedented global events and this has changed how we live our lives. This has made us approach things differently. While our core business is still in cash handling equipment, we have to address the increased need for cashless payments that increased massively during the pandemic. As a company, we are also rethinking our approach and modernising – addressing issues such as our environmental policy, inclusion and flexible working. The new UBA® Pro sets new standards in automated transactions and delivers better performance including faster note-to-note acceptance, low cost of ownership and reduced service and repair downtime. The UBA Pro™ comes as a part of a comprehensive product
family, where it is accompanied by two bill recyclers, the UBA Pro-RT™ and UBA Pro-RQ™. The different configurations of UBA Pro™ Family make it flexible enough to suit all gaming needs. One of the main attractions of the suite of products is the modular design, which makes them particularly technician-friendly, making on-site servicing easier, as well as providing easy retrofit for improved performance. This means that down-time is reduced to an absolute minimum as replacement of removable components can be carried out quickly from the front of the unit. “We are thrilled with the reaction to the UBA® Pro Family,” says
Dragoljub Grekulovic, Head of Product Management in JCM EMEA. “We looked to improve the design, performance and security at this price level, while making it easier to service and giving it a
