junio, donde la industria internacional del juego presencial estuvo presente, además de elementos de apuestas deportivas y el juego online, en una estupenda expo y conferencias de calidad. Por cuestión de espacio, tendremos un amplio reporte de este evento en la edición de julio/agosto de Americano. ¡Qué gran despertar! Cuando al fin, Brasil puso en vitrina un Show para que lo viera el mundo acerca de todo lo que tiene que ofrecer en apuestas y juegos de azar – con iGaming a la vanguardia en este maravilloso país, el mundo tiene que detenerse y poner atención. Y otra vez, como muchos otros, imagino, me preguntaba porque Brasil no lidera el mundo en todo, si cuenta con genio inventivo, destreza y estilo para darle gloriosa vida a cualquier disciplina o trabajo, sea este en automotores, ingeniería civil, medicina, etc., ¿y porque no, en


apuestas y juego de azar también? Al llegar al Transamerica Expo Center de Sao Paulo, después de un tortuoso viaje en taxi, no sabía lo que me aguardaba. Sin embargo, después de registrarme lo único que me venía a la cabeza era la impresión de Miranda en La Tempestad, la obra de William Shakespeare. No por la inocencia de la núbil hija de Prospero como lo demuestra en la obra, sino como un manifiesto en el estrado del mundo global donde el mundo del iGaming, con destreza y creatividad pudo mostrar y exponer con persuasión y amplitud al BIS SIGMA Americas. “Oh nuevo e intrépido mundo” hacía eco repetidamente en mi pensamiento con cada emocionante paso que daba por corredores desbordantes de alegría en este exuberante show de tecnología y creatividad, y ante la repetición de cada frase me sumergía cada vez mas en una nueva y vibrante experiencia. Recomponiendo la poética línea de la obra de Shakespeare y

What an awakening! When, at long last, Brazil put on a show for the world about all it has to offer betting and gaming - with iGaming leading the way in this wonderful country - the world has to stop and take notice. Once again, like many others, I ask myself why Brazil is not leading the world in everything if it has the inventiveness, skill and flair to bring to joyous life any discipline or trade, whether motor vehicles, road infrastructure, medicine, etc., and why not betting and gaming also? Arriving at Sao Paulo’s Transamerica Expo


Center, after a tortuous traffic ride, one didn’t know what to expect. However, after registration all one could think of was Miranda’s first impression in William’s Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Not with the innocence of Prospero’s waif like daughter in the play, but as a statement on the World stage of the iGaming world, with art and creativity shown and exhibited with persuasion and abandon at BIS SIGMA Americas. “O brave new


world!” just echoed


repeatedly in my mind with each amazing step through the fun-filled corridors of this exuberant Brazilian show of technology and innovation. With each repeated phrase I was immersed in new and vibrant experiences.
