Casino International spoke with Ms. Mariana Manchina, Sales Manager for the Philippines at EGT and EGT Digital.
Casino International: You’re Sales Manager for the Philippines at EGT. What are the company’s positions in the region?
Mariana Manchina: EGT is working towards establishing an offi ce in the Philippines in 2023. This will allow us to be closer to our partners and will give us a better overview of the gaming market in Asia which is constantly evolving. Last but not least, it will enable us to get to know the tastes and preferences of local players faster and in greater detail. Of course, we have also prepared new products
developed specifi cally for the market, which I believe will diversify players’ experience in the casinos.
CI: Which products of EGT would you describe as the most successful in Asia to date? MM: I would distinguish the multiplayer terminals from the S-Line Series, as well as the T-Line Roulette as EGT’s most successful products in Asia so far. They attract players’ attention with their eye-catching design and the variety of gaming content they offer and demonstrate very good performance everywhere they are installed.
CI: Which of the new developments from the company’s portfolio have the highest potential for the local market in your opinion? Do you have products that are developed specifi cally for Asian players? MM: As I mentioned above, EGT’s multiplayer products are popular here, so I think that the new generation of developments will receive a warm reception and will also reap success. I believe that G 27 T and G 32 T terminals, as well as G R6 C and G RSA roulettes with their numerous ergonomic features and immense fl exibility, allowing many possible confi gurations with other devices, will be a great fi t for the local gaming establishments. Another development with high potential is our four-level jackpot Cai Fu Tian Jiang, which will be presented in the Philippines very soon. The magic of the Far East will tempt the seekers of vast wealth to dive into the exciting world of the 4 games elaborated specifi cally for the product.
CI: EGT Digital is EGT’s subsidiary focused entirely on the iGaming industry. Please tell us more about its products and what expectations you have for their performance among local players. MM: The iGaming industry in Asia is following the global trends and is developing at a rapid pace. I am confi dent that there is a huge potential for EGT Digital’s products in the region. We are planning to present our in-house developed “all-in-one” betting platform X-Nave, containing 4 main products: Sports betting solution, offering a full range of promotional features; Casino aggregator, provided with a large package of game providers that is constantly enriching; CRM Engine, allowing full fl exibility in terms of segmentation and setting parameters, and Payment Gateway, enabling users to make safe and easy payments. They could be both part of the complete solution or operate separately as they are capable of being integrated with third parties. EGT Digital has a rich portfolio of instant and online slot games as well which I believe will also arouse the interest of the local gaming audience.
CI: Are you planning to participate in any of the upcoming gaming exhibitions in Asia? MM: We are going to take part in the upcoming edition of SiGMA Asia, which will be held in Manila, Philippines. We would like to invite our partners to visit our stand and become familiar with our latest iGaming solutions, as well as our land-based products: the slot cabinets G 50 J2 St and G 27-27 Up and the terminals G 27 T and G 32 T from the General series, and the jackpots: the Asian-themed Cai Fu Tian Jiang and the bestseller Bell Link.
CI: What are your plans for development till the end of the year? MM: Our main focus by the end of the year is to complete new installations in the Philippines and increase EGT presence with the progressive jackpot Cai Fu Tian Jiang and the multiplayer terminals. We will focus on creating new opportunities and expanding our iGaming portfolio with themes suitable for the Asian market.
