MACAU BUSINESS
Walt Power, CEO of Vietnam’s The Grand Ho Tram
casino resort, emphasised that “a lot of the casino operations in Asia are run by people with a lot of experience in Macau. We are well experienced to capitalise on that dynamic when the flow starts from mainland China.” Power himself was based in Macau for some 16 years,
having been Senior Vice President of Operations at Venetian Macau Limited and CEO of The 13 Holdings and South Shore Holdings. The three-day G2E Asia Special Edition: Singapore expo
brought together over 100 international suppliers from 30 countries and regions showcasing over 1,000 game-changing products, solutions, and technologies, according to co-organizer Reed Exhibitions (RX). “The enthusiastic response from our exhibitors reflects the industry’s needs and the importance of meeting face-to-face to strengthen relationships with one another. At a trade show like this, besides the chance to showcase their innovative products, the exhibitors and visitors have plenty of networking opportunities to expand their business contacts,” said Yip Je Choong, Senior Vice President, Commercial, APAC, RX, at the event’s opening ceremony.
