Soft2Bet launches World Cup engagement tool

Soft2Bet has launched MEGA Shoot, a football-themed gamification feature designed to support player engagement during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Available across selected Soft2Bet brands, including Betinia, Campobet and ToonieBet, the feature uses a head-to-head penalty shootout format in which players alternate

between taking penalties and making saves. According to Soft2Bet, early results show engagement from 31.9 per cent of active players, with 71.2 per cent of participants returning to play a second match. Chief Product Officer Yoel Zuckerberg said the format had been developed to help operators maintain player engagement throughout the month-long tournament by combining sportsbook activity with interactive gameplay.

The launch expands Soft2Bet’s Motivational Engineering Gaming Application (MEGA) portfolio, which provides operators with customisable gamification tools aimed at improving player retention across sportsbook and casino products.

Visualize Group to acquire eCOGRA

Private investment fi rm The Visualize Group has agreed to acquire testing, inspection, certifi cation and compliance specialist eCOGRA from Hanover Investors, subject to regulatory approval.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in London, eCOGRA provides compliance and certifi cation services to online gaming suppliers, operators and regulators across

more than 50 jurisdictions.

The acquisition follows Visualize’s recent investment in BMM Testlabs. The fi rm said the two businesses will continue to operate independently while expanding testing capacity, accelerating certifi cation times and broadening services for regulated gaming markets. eCOGRA Chief Executive Will Shuckburgh said the investment would support continued growth while allowing the business to maintain its independence and accreditation standards. Financial terms were not disclosed. Visualize said the transaction refl ects continued demand for independent testing and certifi cation services as regulated gaming markets expand and compliance requirements become increasingly complex.

Classic slots

dominate jackpot payouts

Progressive jackpots on established slot titles continue to account for the largest player wins across Kinetic Digital’s casino brands, according to new company data.

The operator analysed its ten biggest jackpot payouts, with more than €600,000 awarded across Slingo.com, Mega Casino, Genting Casino Online and Spin Genie.

The largest individual prize was a €285,992 win on Fluffy Favourites Mega Jackpot at Slingo. com, while Mega Casino recorded four of the top ten payouts, more than any other brand in the portfolio.

Long-established titles including 777 Strike, Age of the Gods and Rainbow Jackpots featured prominently in the rankings, suggesting players continue to favour familiar progressive jackpot networks despite the steady introduction of new releases.
