THE KEY INNOVATION of the device is the SAS ( Slot Accounting Systém) seriál port integrated in the outer shell of the iDROPa which allows the direct and fully compliant connection to any Casino Management Systém running the operations and transactions both on tables and slots. The iDrop’s SAS serial port eliminates the need of API or other fi rmware development, but just standard communication via SAS protocol. The iDROPa could check every bill inserted and ensure that the total cash-in amount does not exceed a certain AML limit set by the regulation. If the limit is exceeded, the transaction could be rejected by the Casino Management systém module, and the banknote returned to the player.
